Kenneth Williams

Executive chef, Agua Caliente Casinos — Rancho Mirage

Chef Kenneth Williams believes the most flavorful cuisine is made simply with the highest-quality products, and he considers it a part of his job to inspire and educate his culinary staff to produce delicious dining experiences on a consistent basis. Williams got his professional culinary career start working for his father, who was a certified executive chef and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.

From those early beginnings, Williams went on to culinary school and then to the prestigious Four Seasons hotel corporation in Newport Beach and Beverly Hills, where he learned the essentials of five-star and five-diamond food service. Along the way, he had the opportunity to work with Wolfgang Puck Catering and assist in ultra-high-end catering events that included the Academy Awards Governors Ball. Williams has served as a progressive professional chef for corporate gaming, food management companies, and tribal gaming from Las Vegas to the mid-south and throughout California. Prior to joining Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage in February of this year, Williams was executive chef of theme park operations at Universal Studios Hollywood.

An American Culinary Federation Certified Executive Chef and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, New York, Williams brings a wealth of professional expertise to overseeing the diverse dining options available at Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage. The resort’s fine dining restaurant, The Steakhouse, winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence since 2007 and now a recipient of the AAA Four Diamond restaurant award, features prime steaks and fresh seafood delivered with impeccable service. Among the more casual dining options found at this award-winning destination resort, a AAA Four Diamond and Forbes Travel Guide recommended property, is the bright and comfortable Waters Café with a menu that presents a mix of American comfort food classics with a light California twist. The property’s new dining marketplace, The District, offers the Ace Deli; La Olla, featuring authentic Mexican cuisine; and Jade, presenting a diverse Asian menu with influences from Vietnamese, Chinese, Filipino, Korean, and Thai cuisines.
