Seminar: From the 1880s to Present: A Tasting Experience from San Luis Obispo Coast
Taste and learn about coastal wines from California’s coolest wine region, San Luis Obispo Coast. During this seminar, our vintners share the history and terroir of this hidden gem, taking you on a journey beginning with the first vintages and vineyard plantings established in the 1880s in Arroyo Grande and the pioneering families that planted vineyards during the 1970s in the Edna Valley. Taste an array of wines from coastal chardonnay and pinot noir to newly planted varieties.
Wine History Project historian Heather Muran will moderate the seminar.
