Elizabeth Falkner

Award-winning chef Elizabeth Falkner has built a celebrated career spanning fine dining, restaurant ownership, and culinary consulting. After running acclaimed establishments in San Francisco and New York, Falkner now focuses on cooking at food festivals, fundraisers, and global events — serving both celebrities and food enthusiasts alike.

A sought-after recipe and product developer, she has collaborated with brands including Barilla, Starbucks, Nestlé, and Hershey. A familiar face on cooking competition shows for over 20 years, Falkner is recognized worldwide as a pioneer in the culinary industry.

Beyond the kitchen, she is a fitness advocate who champions work-life balance and serves on the James Beard Foundation’s board of trustees as chair of its awards committee. In 2023, Falkner’s documentary Sorry We’re Closed won Best Documentary Feature at the Pasadena Film Festival.

Now based in Los Angeles, she and her partner, Heather Freyer, launched T’MARO Brands in 2024, featuring innovative, date-based beverages: T’MARO Amaro, Eau de Vie, and Cacao Nib.
