Media Registration Rules + Regulations
Media wishing to attend Palm Desert Food & Wine must fill out the press credentials application found at the bottom of this page. Applications will be reviewed and acceptance emails will be sent out. Press admittance is complimentary and limited to one press representative and one photographer per media outlet. Guests of attending media will not be issued guest passes. Submission of your press credentials application does not guarantee admission.
If you are a freelance writer or photographer interested in attending as press, you must provide a letter from the media outlet you are representing on the company’s letterhead with a signature from your assignment editor. Eligibility is considered on a case-by-case basis and you will be notified if your press credentials are approved.
Complimentary press admittance is available only to journalists working in conjunction with a commercial news or industry-related website. Websites must be established and updated on a regular basis with up-to-date and original news and content. Personal website writers with an established website may be considered on an individual basis. Websites that are less than a year old, website designers, editors, and creators are not eligible for complimentary press registration.
Bloggers will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but should at least fulfill the following requirements: must be a professional blogger, have an established audience, and receive at least 10,000 unique visits per month. Bloggers must be able to show verifiable proof of these statistics. Blogs must cover industry-related news and be updated at least 3 times a week with original content.

2020 Media Credential Registration Is Now Open
A Media Credential Request Form must be submitted for each representative from your publication, including photographers. You will be notified if you are approved, and a Photo ID will be required when you pick up your credential.
Credentials can be picked up at the Fashion Week El Paseo and Palm Desert Food & Wine Media Booth starting Friday, March 20, 2020. Location: The Gardens on El Paseo, west side, upper level parking deck, 73-545 El Paseo, Palm Desert, California, 92260. No credentials will be mailed.
2020 Media Booth Hours: Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday, March 22: 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Monday, March 23 through Thursday, March 26: 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, March 28: 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday, March 29: 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Credential details will also be supplied with your media confirmation materials.
